For fans of Jandy Nelson and Jenny Han comes a new novel that asks, can you possibly know the person you’re becoming if you don’t know the person you’ve been?

Addison Sullivan has been in an accident. In its aftermath, she has memory lapses and starts talking to a boy that no one else can see. It gets so bad that she’s worried she’s going crazy.

Addie takes drastic measures to fill in the blanks and visits a shadowy medical facility that promises to “help with your memory.” But at the clinic, Addie unwittingly discovers it is not her first visit. And when she presses, she finds out that she had certain memories erased. She had a boy erased.

But why? Who was that boy, and what happened that was too devastating to live with? And even if she gets the answers she’s looking for, will she ever be able to feel like a whole person again?
This is totally a cover lust. I mean, who wouldn't drool over this pastel-ish cover, right? So thankful that Penguin Random sent me a galley of this a few months back! IT IS SO PRETTY IN PERSON YOU GUYS *pets book*! Cannot wait to read this one!

What title/s did you pick this week?

STACKING THE SHELVES (83): THE FULLYBOOKED JULY 2016 SALE!

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews that showcases newly acquired books or goodies we bought, received or borrowed during the week.
Last July 1 after work, I went to Fullybooked BGC branch. It was the first day of their epic crazy sale. I wasn't sure if I should go on the first day but gosh, surviving the traffic was worth it. Hazel of Stay Bookish bought 43 books and I knew I had to go. I was like a crazy person waiting for the staff to replenish every table and I just kept grabbing books from everywhere! My haul was originally around 40 books but then it went down to 13 because most of the titles I grabbed I have ordered from Book Outlet. These books are just roughly 2$-3$. SCORE, RIIIIGHT

MEETING THE AUTHORS: AMY ZHANG AND ANDREA PORTES.

Where I relive the experience and share all the feels before, during and after meeting these fantastic authors WHO ARE BASICALLY LIFE.
I still have double major book signing hangover from Sarah's Event last March and Jennifer Niven's last June so I honest don't know how to properly fangirl. I've read Falling into Place by Amy Zhang early last year and quite enjoyed it! Falling into Place is one of the two books (All the Bright Places is the other one in case you are wondering) that practically had been there for me during my low points in this life. So I am quite possessive of this copy of mine and I just can't sell or give it away. Every time I look at those two books, I am reminded of how my life has changed and that I will give my might just not to go back to that awful place.

Okay, so I haven't read any Portes books and I don't really understand why I couldn't find a hardcover of Anatomy of a Misfit from the date I learned about the signing until the signing day itself. Like, the hell with marketing strategies I needed my freaking book now I couldn't even come up with story-related questions for the author. But I am so glad Amy and Andrea were THAT cool to entertain questions out of this world.

You would understand if there's really  no bookish connection between me and Andrea, right? I've been meaning to get a copy of Anatomy of a Misfit even before all this but for some reason, I kept stalling. I said it a lot of times that I knew I should have gotten THAT HC copy but meh I didn't and there's no do overs in this life so I need to move on. I just feel a little upset with myself because there's the chance of talking to an NYT Bestselling Author, that chance that just went out the window.

Amy on the other hand is so OPEN, like she's all smiles and chitchats and she really does communicate as if we're her close friends. I've ask a lot of questions (for the proper Q&A, I ask on behalf of Precious), silly ones and personal ones. Without even blinking, she goes in this story-teller mode and I love it. Dianne even suggested Jolibee to her and she's game! She also told us how's college life going and that she doesn't really write write, but just does it during breaks. And I can't get over how "sunny" her smile is. (if there's such a thing!) She's so approachable!

"You get one chance. You get to do this and that and you don't even know when it goes from swirling forward and around and around in circles to just a plain cold stop and nothing more." - Anatomy of a Misfit

"Please," he whispers, "Remember the sky." - Falling into Place

Thank you once again to National Bookstore, Epic Reads, HarperCollins, Bloggers, Andrea and Amy! I had a blast!

Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms—and she might be key to stopping it. Took me a while to finish this because why does adulting have to ruin everything?

My friends were right, ACOMAF felt like a totally different series. Like, you're starting a new one. SARAH J MAAS made a GLORIOUS 360 DEGREE-CHANGE. It was totally not the sequel I was anticipating but I believe, she did this to make the story much compelling. I DUNNO, HATE ME ALL YOU WANT BUT I LIKED THIS SEQUEL AND I LIKED EVERYTHING IN IT EXCEPT FOR THE FIRST 200 PAGES WHERE NOTHING HAPPENED. I ALSO OFFICIALLY SWITCHED TEAMS AND I AM NOW TEAM RHYSAND BECAUSE SJM IS SO CRUEL TO MY HEART, TO TAMLIN HAHAHA. I ALSO HAVE THIS LOVE AND HATE RELATIONSHIP WITH FEYRE BECAUSE I INITIALLY FELT HOW BROKEN SHE WAS AND I ADORE HER FOR PULLING THROUGH AND AT THE SAME TIME I FELT HER RAGE FOR BEING LOCKED UP I WANT TO PUNCH EVERYONE IN THE FACE WHEN THEY DID THAT UGH BUT SOMETIMES SHE'S JUST SO FULL OF HERSELF IT MAKES ME HEAVE.

YOU WOULD UNDERSTAND THOUGH WHY TAMLIN DID WHAT HE DID RIGHT? AND WHY FEYRE'S FEELINGS WENT SOUTH BECAUSE WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK IS WRONG WITH TAMLIN I KNOW HE'S SCARED TO LOSE HER OR THERE'S A REASON BEHIND THAT WOULD BE REVEALED NEXT BOOK OR SOMETHING, I DON'T CARE I MEAN COME ON MAN YOU HAVE THE GIRL WHY IMPRISON HER? THERE SHOULD BE LIKE, FUCKING TRUST THERE TAMLIN WHY DID YOU HAVE TO BE SUCH THE DOUCHIEST DOUCHE BAG, I LOVED YOU TAMLIN BUT YOU FUCKING PUSHED ME AWAY

IT ALSO FELT LIKE THIS IS ALL ABOUT JUSTIFYING EVERYTHING RHYSAND DID. HELLO???????? HE TERRORIZED THE ENTIRE REALM FOR AS LONG AS SJM CAN REMEMBER AND THEM BAAAAM BEFORE YOU CAN EVEN SAY 'RHYSAND'. HE'S SUDDENLY THE WHAT, THE ------- ONE?? YOU GET ME? BUT WELL, I AM TOTALLY OKAY WITH THAT WTH GIVE ME MORE RHYSAND I'LL TAKE IT BECAUSE I AM NOT JUDGEMENTAL AND EVERYBODY DESERVES A SECOND CHANCE RIGHT ---

MY FEELINGS went a little bit south as well during that ridiculous cave scene with the King LIKE, FUCK, RHYSAND DIDN'T SEE THAT ONE COMING? REALLY? OF ALL THE THINGS HE ANTICIPATED, THIS ONE HE MISSED? UNFUCKINGBELIEVABLE. BUT HE'S STILL THE CLEVER ONE, LIKE I DUNNO MAN, I JUST HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS I COULDN'T FIND THE ANSWERS TO LIKE WHY DIDN'T HE MANIPULATE THE QUEENS' MINDS IF HE'S THE MOST POWERFUL HIGH LORD OF ALL AND WHY IS IT ALWAYS FEYRE LIKE WHY NOT UNLEASH WHATEVER MONSTER AMREN IS AND WIPE THEM ALL AAAAAAH SEND HELPPPPP

A Court of Mist and Fury is TAUNTING, HAUNTING, AND IS SO FUCKING PAINFUL YOU WOULD WANT TO THROW IT OUT THE WINDOW. SJM MASTERED TOYING WITH MY FEELINGS AND ACOMAF LEGIT DESTROYED ME. I CANNOT ANYMORE WITH THIS LIFE

BOOKISH TRAVELS (01): BATANGAS, CEBU AND BOHOL, PH.

This feature is new here on the blog (there might be others out there though) which is a combination of bookstagram/bookphotography/photography. Not that I travel a lot but that's the goal and I am in no way a professional photog but here I will share the bookish photos I took during my travels!

Taken from Palm Beach Resort in Laiya, Batangas.
It was during our company summer outing (May) where I gained hideous arm tan lines by taking photos!

Taken from Taoist Temple, Beverly Hills, Cebu City.
I legit didn't know we have our local Beverly Hills!

Taken from Chocolate Hills, Bohol.
The hills were too dry and could use all our sweat!
I wasn't entire impressed with what I saw and what I did to get the 'best' view (UGH STAIRS!)
I am still grateful I was able to visit it!

Take from the Habitat (Butterfly Garden), Bohol.
This is such a perfect place for photo ops!

Take from Man-made Forest, Bohol.
Again, another awesome place for photo ops.
I don't want to leave the place and so Twilight-y!

Last three photos where all taken in Cebu during the island hopping!
It was so fun feeding the fishies and I ate sea urchin (ulk)!

Most of you are abroad so let us see those wonderful places!

STACKING THE SHELVES (82): THE ALMOST RAINBOW EDITION.

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews that showcases newly acquired books or goodies we bought, received or borrowed during the week.
I visit the BookSale Store near my workplace almost every other day (yes, that frequent) because I couldn't help but wish I'd spot a YA treasure. And it's like the BookSale Store is a wish-granting store because I've never gone home empty handed (just these past several weeks anyway). Aside from the review copies I received (!!!!!!!), I bought a few new ones, from my travel last June and the book signing (shit, I completely forgot about writing my recap!). I also went to Fullybooked's Midyear sale a few weeks back and I think I'll post that next week.

THE BLOG TOUR YOU WOULDN'T WANT TO MISS.

This fantastic tour is hosted by yours truly which I am super thrilled to host hehehe and ARCs provided by Harper Voyager UK!
Ever since I closed the last page of Illuminae, Jay became an instant part of my Auto-Buy Authors list. There's just so much love in my heart for this series! After Illuminae, I wanted more of his stories so while waiting for my Lotus War series to arrive, I practically drown myself in his hilarious/brilliant pieces of bloggery in a weekly fashion. Basically, Jay's words are crack to me (not like I tried the real one)! His words are hypnotic! HAHA! You see, I've become an avid fan. I need to tour at least one of Jay's books in this lifetime and if I can't do Gemina (since it's a sequel), then Nevernight is the next best option. The lovely people of Harper Voyager UK are generous enough to send me early copies of Nevernight so thank you so happily much! What is this intro for, you ask? Nothing, I just love Jay and his fucking amazing words.

On to the sign up form! Here it is! This tour is going to be short and I will be limiting the number of bloggers who can join. Sorry people but as much as I would like to accommodate you all, time is really my enemy. So I've opened this online form until the 16th of this month for you to leave your deets up!

This is going to be fun so go ahead and sign up now! Can't wait to have you on board!

Thank you so much, Harper Voyager UK for the ARCs!
