Hallo! October is officially here and it means that it's the start of autumn in some places and spring in others. Here int the Philippines though, our two seasons have been confusing us lately. One day it would feel like summer again and then the next it would rain so hard. So I am just trying to be autumn-y because Autumn is so pretty and relaxing. It could be my fave if we have Autumn here.

MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYONE!!

Sending a loud Christmas greeting on the first day of September is my annual tradition. Here in the Philippines, the entry to the BER months signals the Yuletide Season. I remember when I was little, this is the day people would start to schedule their Christmas Shopping and us kids would practice for our Caroling. Other people would also start to get excited for Simbang Gabi! September is also one of the months I mostly look forward to because hell yeah, it's my birthday month! Now I have the power to force my brother to buy me books because why the hell not?

Anyway, here are the books I am most excited to read this month:

We are now into the second half of 2017! How did that happen so fast? Well, I'm just glad summer is over because I seriously cannot with the heat! But here are four titles I cannot wait to get my hands on this month!

The Color Project by Sierra Abrams (18th)

I heard nothing but praises for this book and it is such an honor to be given an eARC of this! Thank you Sierra for the galley and early congrats to you!

Lucky in Love by Kasie West (25th)

I haven't established yet a very strong relationship with Kasie West's writing but I am hoping so much that this book would bridge it! The ARC looks so cute! Thank you Scholastic Philippines for my galley!

The Library of Fates by Aditi Khorana (18th)

Another story in Indian Folklore? OMG that premise is just so perfect and intriguing! I AM SO SOLD Y'ALL huhuhuhu it's so exciting that we have amazing stories coming out like this one!

What to Say Next by Julie Buxbaum (11th)

I looooved Tell Me Three Things and it was impossible not to feel things while I was reading it! What to Say Next I wouldn't pass up on! Can't wait to grab my copy!

JUNE 2017 HOT PICKS!

I am a little bit confused if June is now the start of rainy season or if it's still summer. Climate change is legit a sucker. Years ago, it used to be all rain by June - September. But now it feels like the entire year is summer. Sigh. I couldn't even feel the cold during December anymore. I hate it.
